Cracked

Project information

"Cracked" is an interactive encryption and decryption application designed as a comprehensive year-long project for a Year 12 Software Design and Development class. The project journey was meticulously documented, beginning with a problem statement and evolving through in-depth research, design choices, user interface mockups, and the development of pseudocode for the core logic.

The heart of "Cracked" is its educational exploration of cryptography, showcasing a range of classical ciphers which users can employ to encrypt and decrypt messages. The application serves as a practical tool for understanding and applying ciphers like the Caeser Cipher, ROT13, Vigenère Cipher, Bacon Cipher, Barcode Cipher, and Rail Fence Cipher, as demonstrated in the accompanying visual. Each cipher was selected and implemented following extensive research to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
